Final Double Page Spread

This is my final draft for my double page spread. I added a post it note to make it link back to my contents page.

This is the third draft for my double page spread. I added a image of the article's subject to make it link in. I kept the picture in link with the eighties theme by adding a rubix cube idea to it.

This is my second draft for my double page spread. I added more variation to the text. I differentiated the questions from the answers by changing the colours. I centred the title so it stood out  more and I added a phrase underneath to introduce the article.

This is the first draft of my double page spread. Ive written the article on the left side with the plan to have a full page photograph on the right side with a quote from the article. I kept with the blue theme and used the same text style for the artist's name that I used for the front cover.

Final contents page

This is the final draft for my contents page. I took photos of Cd sleeves to include (Michael Jackson, The Clash, U2 and Fleetwood Mac). But I used models for Jones and Ben Idol. I wanted to include the stylophone to really embrace eighties culture so I took a photo of my own stylophone. I liked the idea of a collage/pinboard look so it doenst look so computerised to seeem more eighties presentation rather than 2012 style.

Ive carried on my contents page more by re-shuffling some things and adding more pictures. i have a few more pictures to put on and the writting in the middle.

This is a draft i made at home of what i want my contents page to end up looking like. I like the variety of colors and messy laid back feel of the design.

This is the final draft for my music magazine cover. I added a barcode, plus a date, issue number and price. Also i decided to add a free gift. I made it stand out in the circle up by the masthead.

This is my 3rd draft for my music magazine cover. I changed the colour of the masdthead so it stands out more plus i changed the outline for my coverline so it was more readable.

This is my second draft for my fornt cover, i decided to change the photograph because its clearer and gives more space to put the masthead and coverlines.

This is the first draft of my music magazine. I have added blocks of colour to the picture to keep in within the theme of the magazine. I made the masthead bright and eye catching, making sure it stands out.

I chose these four pictures out of the bunch for my front cover. I chose these because they are a  mid shor/close up of the model. I left a gap at the top of the pictures for the masthead to be put in. I decided to use the first image on my front cover because it uses most of the shor and it portrays the model well so that he looks personable.
